Questions in Chef’s Quiz cover everything from Cookery Fundamentals to Meat and Seafood Cooking through to Baking and Pastry - there are hundreds of questions across 3 levels in each category (Beginner, Intermediate and Expert).

Each level is harder than the previous, but testing your Expert knowledge can earn higher scores and larger score bonuses - you can even earn Achievements and badges as you play.

A note for aspiring Chefs - all of the questions revolve around industry standards, and are taken from training materials that are commonly used in our world famous Culinary Arts Schools.

ABOUT AUGUSTE ESCOFFIER

Auguste Escoffier (1846-1935) was one of the first international stars of modern cooking. Apprenticed in a kitchen in Nice at 13 and consumed with ambition to become the best, he moved steadily upward in this assigned trade to become “the chef of kings and the king of chefs.” 


In 1966, the French transformed the house in which he was born into the Escoffier Foundation & Museum of Culinary Arts. Escoffier left behind a legacy still enjoyed by professional chefs, home cooks and gastronomes in France and abroad. He invented some 5,000 recipes, and culinary institutions around the world continue to teach his methods.
